La Villa aux oliviers In the middle of a garden planted with trees, the villa is a Provençal mas devoured by bougainvillea and climbing plants. Inside, the elegant and authentic decoration gives it a “family home” atmosphere, with the black and white photos arranged on the stone fireplace, the antique wooden dressers and the linen.
In the large kitchen with industrial pendant lights, we keep the same mix of tradition and modernity that we also find in the suites, where the weathered wooden furniture contrasts with the polished concrete walls and contemporary works of art.
After a lie-in, we have breakfast in the shade of a parasol. The peaceful silence of the garden is undisturbed by the sound of birds nestling in the fruit trees or the lapping of the water in the pool, which resembles a natural pond. In the afternoon, it’s off to the prestigious Saint-Tropez Golf Club, just 2 minutes away from the estate. At snack time, we head to Place des Lices for a slice of tarte Tropézienne, before returning to the estate for an aperitif on the sunny terrace.
